University Communication

The Department of University Communication keeps the university community and the general public informed of the latest news on scholarship and research, degree programs and teaching, university administration and policy, as well as various events on campus.

We assist journalists reporting on topics relating to the university and put media representatives into contact with the appropriate spokesperson in-house.

Colleagues from the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society will find that we provide competent assistance in both internal and external communication, as well as in marketing, corporate design, and event management. The department also manages the production of flyers, handouts, and brochures.

The school sponsorship program of the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society has been in existence since 2003. Since then, we have been in constant contact with over 90 schools in Ludwigshafen and the surrounding area and have been able to organize many good events together.

The idea that guides us is to enter into a constructive and lasting dialog with the schools and to actively support the pupils in their transition from school to university. All members of the university are involved in this: Education staff, students and employees. We are particularly interested in schools in the Rhine-Neckar region and neighboring regions - after all, a large proportion of our students come from there.

It is important to us to have permanent contacts at the university and to provide reliable information for you and your pupils. In addition to various events to introduce the university - from "University Information Day", trade fair presentations and information events at schools to individual taster lectures and campus tours - we also offer a series of workshops for educators and students, for example on the topics of scientific work or study orientation.

The contact person at Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society for all questions relating to the "School Sponsorship" program and for initial contact is

hochschulkommunikation@hwg-lu.de

She is responsible for the smooth coordination between the university and schools.

Jessica Heuser from the university's & education department, who is responsible for and organizes the workshop program:

Contact: Ms. Jessica Heuser, Studies & Education, Tel. 0621/5203-384, e-mail: schreiblabor@hwg-lu.de

To give you a quick and easy overview of our wide range of offers for students, teachers and schools as a whole, we have put together an information brochure for you.
Perhaps you and your pupils will find the right program for you!

If you would like to find out more about studying at the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society outside of school - current exhibition dates are listed in our calendar of events.
