The current print edition of ZEIT CAMPUS was published yesterday with the new ranking for Master's degree programs in business administration, economics, economics, industrial engineering and business informatics, compiled by the Center for Higher Education Development (CHE). It offers orientation and provides an overview of the study conditions at universities and universities of applied sciences. The Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society and its Department of Management, Controlling and HealthCare also took part in the current CHE University Ranking. The recently published results show that the Department of Management, Controlling, HealthCare is well positioned with its Master's programs: For example, it is attested a top position in the categories "Transition to Master's studies" and "Study organization".
Almost 80 percent of the students surveyed were very satisfied or satisfied with the range of courses on offer; the interdisciplinary links between the individual courses also received high approval at almost 70 percent. Almost 80 percent were also satisfied or very satisfied with the social climate between students and lecturers. In contrast, the Master's students surveyed saw slight potential for improvement with regard to the internationalization of education and support during their studies.
Prof. Dr. Eveline Häusler, Dean of the Department of Management, Controlling, HealthCare, places the result in the wider context of the corona pandemic and emphasizes: "The survey for the CHE ranking took place in April / May 2020 during a phase in which our department and the universities as a whole were extremely challenged by the measures to ensure high-quality education under corona conditions. The fact that the students awarded us a top position in terms of study organization in this exceptional situation is an honor for all teaching staff who had to switch to online formats in a very short time, but especially for the program managers as well as the staff in the examination office, IT and many other areas that contribute to a smooth study organization. The top position that the Department occupies in the criterion "transition to the Master's program" confirms that the implementation of the "7+3 model", i.e. 7-semester Bachelor's degree with integrated practical semester and 3-semester Master's degree, has been convincingly successful at the Department."

Health Economics in Practice (GIP); B.A. International Business Administration with a focus on Management (BIM) and B.A. Business Administration with a focus on Management, Controlling and Information (BMC).
About the CHE ranking:
With around 120,000 students surveyed and more than 300 universities and universities of applied sciences/universities of applied sciences (HAW) as well as dual universities and vocational academies, the ranking is, by its own account, the most comprehensive and detailed comparison of universities in the German-speaking world. The CHE University Ranking asks current students about their study conditions in general as well as specific criteria such as supervision, support during studies or for studying abroad, the range of courses, the organization of studies or examinations. They also assess the career guidance on offer, the academic and practical relevance, the rooms, the library facilities and the IT infrastructure. The CHE also collects facts on education and research.
